Research Is Changing the Future of Diabetes

…be a part of it

Why Research Is Important?

Research provides the evidence we need to make improvements in treatments and services. All medicines we have today including those used to treat diabetes are available because scientists, doctors & nurses have worked together to discover and to develop new treatments through research.

Ask yourself …

Enquire to find out how you can help research new treatments for Type 1 Diabetes.

If you’ve been diagnosed with T1D within the past 6 to 9 weeks, there may be studies you can take part in.

If you have been diagnosed for longer than 9 weeks, your help is still valuable, there may still be studies you can participate in.

Enquire about screening for type 1 diabetes.

To check if you are suitable for any of our research studies that are currently recruiting, please use our “research finder” and also register your interest by completing the Get Involved form.
